An open specification for verifiable content provenance in web CMS is being drafted here. The work is in progress. The conversation is already open.

Four layers: structured provenance records, cryptographic signatures, addressable facts, well-known audit endpoints. The TYPO3 reference implementation is in product definition. Drupal, WordPress, and Joomla maintainers are being sought.
